如果哪天，有客戶過來而你老板有事忙不過來，這時他要你sit down with him，你可千萬不要，只是陪著客戶坐，什么都不干??！那你就坐等被辭退吧。

在工作中，sit down with someone，可不是說“要你和某人坐在一起”的意思，而是說，你要和他一起討論。

Clear something with someone
你可能以為這是“與某人一起清理東西”，可其實是，“某事獲得某人的批準”。
clear 除了“清理、收拾”之外，還有很多的意思。當與with連用時，是指“獲得批準、認可”。

除了基本意思“帶領某人通過某地”，還有一個意思是，“帶領某人做某事，解說某事”。
