 The Real Meaning of "Mother"

如果說(shuō)漢語(yǔ)中有一個(gè)最美的詞，

那小譯覺(jué)得一定是：媽媽！

我們都知道“媽媽”的英語(yǔ)是 “Mother”，

但是你知道 Mother 一詞的真正含義嗎？

Mother 的真正含義

"M" is for the million things she gave me,

“M” 代表她所給予我的無(wú)數(shù)，

"O" means that she's growing old,

“O” 的意思是她在日漸老去，

"T" is for the tears she shed to save me,

“T” 是她為撫育我灑下的淚，

"H" is for her heart of purest gold,

“H” 指她有像金子一般的心靈，

"E"is for her eyes, with the love-light shining,

“E”就是她的眼睛，里面洋溢著愛(ài)的光芒，

"R" means right, and right she'll always be,

“R”的意思是正確，因?yàn)樗肋h(yuǎn)都是對(duì)的。

Put them all together, they spell "MOTHER",
