1.put aside : 儲(chǔ)蓄  /  撇開(kāi)；忽略

  a.We want to go on vacation next year, so we are putting aside money each month.

     我們明年要出去旅游，所以我們現(xiàn)在每月都會(huì)存點(diǎn)錢(qián)。

  b.The colleagues put aside their differences and worked together.

     同事們拋開(kāi)分歧，共同合作。

2.put away : 把...收拾好

  The children need to put away their toys before bedtime.

  孩子們?cè)谒X(jué)之前要把玩具收拾好.

3.put away : 

  這個(gè)詞組還可以表示“把某人送進(jìn)監(jiān)獄”：

  John was put away for 15 years for robbing a bank.

  John因?yàn)閾尳巽y行被判入獄15年。

4. put up with : 忍耐

  Sam couldn't put up with his friends' screaming children, so he left the party.

  Sam忍受不了他朋友們那些吵鬧的孩子，所以他離開(kāi)了派對(duì)。
