小春俚語 | be of two minds

今天我們來學(xué)習(xí)這個俚語表達:
be of two minds
Mind 是指內(nèi)心想法，be是指處于某種狀態(tài)。
be of two minds和be in two minds的意思基本相同，均表示“左右搖擺”或“拿不定主意，下不了決心”。
下面看看兩個例子：
1.Don’t depend on him to decide. He always seems to be of two minds on important matters. 別指望他能做出決定。在重要事情上他好像總拿不定主意。 2.He always seems to be of two minds about everything. 不管什么事情，他似乎總是猶豫不定。
