1. Money talks金錢萬能;金錢最有發(fā)言權(quán)。

[例]I can't compete against rich old Mrs. Smith. She will get her waybecause money talks.
我不可能同那個富有的史密斯老太太競爭。她可以隨心所欲,金錢萬能嘛!

2.hush money封住嘴巴的賄賂錢

The erooks paid Fredhush money to keep their whereabouts secret.
那些竊賊們給費雷德一筆賄賂錢,讓他對他們的行蹤保密。

3. Easy money輕而易舉得來的錢
Easy就是容易，money就是錢。Easy money有兩種不同的意思。Easy money可以指用花招或欺騙手段得來的不義之財。但是，easy money一般是指沒有花什么功夫而得來的錢財。

例句: I heard about thehouse owner had to sell the house in a hurry, so I got it at a very low price.A week later I sold it for a 20,000-dollar profit. Talk about my easy money!
我聽說這棟房子的房主急于要出售這房子，所以我以很便宜的價格買進(jìn)了。一個星期后，我把它賣掉，從中賺了兩萬美元。這真是輕而易舉得來的錢。

4.Money makes the mare go 有錢能使鬼推磨

中國有句古話說“有錢能使鬼推磨”(Moneymakes the mare go)。 錢是好東西，有錢自然是好事，它能幫你做很多想做的事情，也可以讓你生活安逸。
例如：It's true that"Money makes the mare go", and it's equally true that "Moneysometimes unmakes its makers."
有錢能使鬼推磨是真,可是錢能毀了掙錢的人也是真的。

5. for my money

相當(dāng)于in my opinion，意思是“要是我的話，以我說”
例如：I don't think Porter will win the cup this season, for my money; Mark has the best chance.
要我說，這個賽季Porter奪不了冠軍，Mark的希望最大。
