看這里!飛速提升英語發(fā)音的小技巧
Do you have a hard time pronouncing certain sounds in English? Do you believe that it’s nearly impossible to improve your accent? I´m here to tell you that you can drastically improve your pronunciation in a short amount of time.
你在英語某些發(fā)音上有困難嗎?你相信要提高你的口音幾乎是不可能的嗎?我在這里告訴你,你可以在很短的時(shí)間內(nèi)飛速提升你的口語。
It´s going to take an open mind, consistent effort, and experimentation with new strategies, but it’s not as hard as you may believe. With pronunciation, a little effort goes a long way.
這需要一個(gè)開放的心境,持續(xù)性的努力,有著新策略的實(shí)驗(yàn)摸索,但它并沒有你想象的那么難。有了好的發(fā)音,一點(diǎn)點(diǎn)努力就會(huì)大有幫助。
1. Lifestyle English: Listen to Podcasts Every Day 生活方式英語化:每天聽播客 Podcasts Teaching Pronunciation: There are some phenomenal podcasts dealing with pronunciation. Podcasts are free, downloadable audio programs that you can put on your mp3 player. If you’re new to podcasts, you can learn more about podcasts here, or check out our very own podcast, RealLife Radio. They are an excellent option because you can listen in your car or on the bus while you’re stuck in traffic, or whenever is most convenient for you. Intonation: Focus on the Music Behind the Words 語調(diào):專注于歌詞背后的音樂 Whether you pay attention to it or not, the musical element of a language is essential to good pronunciation. You don’t need to become a musician or listen to more music in English (although both of these could help), but you should pay attention to the intonation of native speakers. It is the melodic pattern of the language that is so fundamental to communication and human connection. 無論你是否注意聽,語言的音樂元素對于良好的發(fā)音都是必不可少的。你不需要成為一名音樂家,也不需要用英語聽更多的音樂(盡管這兩種方法都有幫助),但你應(yīng)該注意母語人士的語調(diào)。它是語言的旋律模式,是溝通和人際關(guān)系的基礎(chǔ)。 3. Practice: Read Out Loud Every Day 練習(xí):每天出聲大聲朗讀 I would reserve this one more specifically for people who have already learned some degree of correct pronunciation, because reading without correct pronunciation, or a teacher helping you, you’re just reinforcing poor pronunciation. Before you start, you should at least have some idea of what it feels like to pronounce things correctly. 我要特別為那些已經(jīng)學(xué)了一定程度正確發(fā)音的人保留這點(diǎn),因?yàn)殚喿x沒有正確的發(fā)音,也沒有老師幫助你,你只是在強(qiáng)化糟糕的發(fā)音。在開始之前,你至少應(yīng)該知道正確發(fā)音的感覺。 If your pronunciation level has not been stabilized, I don’t recommend reading for more than 10 or 15 minutes, because people tend to lose their concentration, and go back to their vices (which is to reinforce them). Remember, pronunciation can be improved quite quickly with small, concentrated doses even only a few times per week. 如果你的發(fā)音水平?jīng)]有穩(wěn)定下來,我不推薦閱讀超過10到15分鐘,因?yàn)槿藗儍A向于失去注意力,回到他們的惡習(xí)(這是加強(qiáng)他們)。記住,發(fā)音可以用小而集中的量來快速地提高,即使每周只有幾次。 4. Self-Awareness: Record Yourself Speaking 自我意識:記錄自己說話 Record yourself reading out loud on a tape recorder or a computer. At first, it will be really difficult to listen to your own voice. Relax, as you will get used it to pretty quickly. 把自己大聲朗讀的聲音錄在錄音機(jī)或電腦上。一開始,聽你自己的聲音真的很難。放松點(diǎn),因?yàn)槟愫芸炀蜁?huì)習(xí)慣的。 Most people hate their voice, even in their own native language, so the combination of your voice and hearing yourself speak a foreign language for the first time will be painful, but it’s a necessary step in developing the self-awareness to improve. You could even record yourself reading the same reading passage every day or every week as you implement these techniques. 大多數(shù)人都討厭他們的聲音,即使是母語,所以你的聲音和聽到自己第一次說外語的聲音會(huì)很痛苦,但這是發(fā)展自我意識的必要步驟。當(dāng)你實(shí)施這些技巧的時(shí)候,你甚至可以每天或每周都錄下相同的閱讀文章。 5. Imitation, Shadowing, and Role Models 模仿,實(shí)地學(xué)習(xí)和榜樣 I’m going to break this one up into two categories: (a) language learning role models, and (b) role models to imitate. Both of them can help you become a better speaker, but in different ways. 我將把它分為兩類:(a)語言學(xué)習(xí)角色模型;(b)角色模型模仿。這兩種方法都可以幫助你成為一個(gè)更好的演講者,但方式不同。 Even if they don’t have perfect pronunciation, they can help you understand the process and what it takes to improve your pronunciation. Naturally gifted people rarely fall into this category unless they are very aware of the processes that help them speak well, so they would usually be “accent role models to imitate.” 即使發(fā)音不完美,他們也能幫助你理解這個(gè)過程以及如何提高你的發(fā)音。天生有天賦的人很少會(huì)屬于這一類,除非他們非常清楚幫助他們說話的過程,所以他們通常是“模仿的口音榜樣"。 As you watch TV and movies, choose somebody who has your type of voice, communication style, and who you would like to emulate. If you don’t know, ask your friends to recommend somebody. You could even memorize parts of movies you like, imitating the actors. 當(dāng)你看電視和電影的時(shí)候,選擇一個(gè)和你的聲音類型、溝通方式相似,你想要模仿的人。如果你不知道,可以讓你的朋友推薦一個(gè)人。你甚至可以記住你喜歡的電影片段,去模仿演員。
