今天我們來學習這個俚語表達:

pain這個字大家都知道是痛的意思，而neck是指脖子。但是，pain in the neck并不是脖子痛的意思，pain in the neck是說某人很討厭。

這個俗語非常普遍，基本上每天都可以聽到美國人這么說: "He's a real pain in the neck."這就是說：“那個人真討厭。”

來看看這倆個句子：

Joan is a real pain in the neck, with her constant complaining.

Joan真是煩，沒完沒了的抱怨。

That fellow gives me a pain in the neck. He's forever complaining about something or other.

那家伙讓我討厭極了.他不是對這件事不平，就是對那件事不滿。
