小春俚語 | act of God 天意

今天我們來學(xué)習(xí)這個俚語表達(dá):
act of God
act 是行動，act of God 直譯就是上帝的行動；
上帝這個人的行動是不可預(yù)計的，所以比喻無法預(yù)計的事情，無法避免的事情。做外貿(mào)的朋友，可能經(jīng)常會碰到這個詞匯，在合同中經(jīng)常會有這樣的條款：因不可抗力而導(dǎo)致的。。。，對應(yīng)在英文合同中，不可抗力就翻譯為act of God（注意God的首字母大寫）。
來看看這倆個句子：
1.He is successful at last. It may be an act of God. 2.I default of an act of God, I began to occupy such an arrangement, began to believe that all arrangement have been the best.
他終于成功了，這也許是天意。
我默認(rèn)天意的安排，現(xiàn)在我開始占有這種安排，開始相信一切安排已是最佳。
