小春俚語(yǔ) | in passing 順便

今天我們來(lái)學(xué)習(xí)這個(gè)俚語(yǔ)表達(dá):
in passing
Pass 動(dòng)詞，表示路過，passing 現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)，表示途中，in 指的是 在...狀態(tài)中的意思，加起來(lái)雖然是在....途中，但是也重點(diǎn)說明了話意，在后邊跟上一個(gè)分句，就是在做...的途中，在做些....事情。也就有了順便的意味。
來(lái)看看這倆個(gè)句子：
1.It may be mentioned in passing that this material is not meant for publication. 可以順便提一提，這個(gè)材料是不準(zhǔn)備發(fā)表的。 2.He also points out, in passing, various questions of the sort which have cropped up early this year. 他也順便指出了今年早些時(shí)候就突然出現(xiàn)的諸如此類的各種問題。
