never mind意為“沒(méi)關(guān)系”、“不要緊”、“不費(fèi)事”，習(xí)慣上用于以下幾種場(chǎng)合：

　　1）當(dāng)別人向你致歉時(shí)。

例如：  

　　——I'm sorry to have brought you so much trouble.  
　　——Never mind.  

　　2）請(qǐng)別人放心或安慰別人時(shí)。

例如：  

　　——Doctor Bethune, please go before the enemy comes．  
　　——Never mind, my boy, it won’t take long.  

　　3）當(dāng)別人要幫助或?yàn)槟阕瞿呈聲r(shí)。

例如：  

　　——Let me carry the bag for you. 讓我給你拿包吧！  
　　——Never mind.不用費(fèi)事了。  

　　另外，當(dāng)別人向你表示感謝時(shí)，不能說(shuō) Never mind. 而說(shuō)Not at all.等。
